Go-To Looks: New Year’s Eve

Hey beauties!

The year 2015 is finally coming to an end, and 2016 is almost here! What better way to ring in the New Year than doing it in style? Here’s a little New Year’s Eve outfit and makeup guide to help.

I think most people can agree with me when I say New Year’s Eve screams, “SEQUINS”! Whether you’re wearing a dress, skirt, top, or shoes, if your outfit is shiny or sparkly, you’re golden. Sequins are super popular for this holiday, but I found some fabulous clothes to help you stand out no matter what! (Stores listed below).

OMG LBD! Let’s face it, you can never really go wrong with a little black dress. Aside from sequins, New Year’s Eve main color is black, so these dresses or sets are perfect. The best part about a LBD is that you can easily dress it up with jewelry, shoes, and makeup! Whether you’re going for a flashy or simple look this year, your LBD will not disappoint.

Your outfit is obviously important, but your New Year’s Eve makeup is key! Of course it depends on your outfit, but you definitely want to have a bold look. If your outfit is decked out with sequins, then a mild to dark smoky eye would look amazing. (As shown on Selena Gomez and Shay Mitchell). If your outfit is simpler, like a little black dress, then glitter and shimmer is what you want on your eyes for sure! (As shown on Barbara Palvin and Jennifer Lopez). Since we’re in winter, you definitely want to go with a dark, bold lip color.

I hope these little fashion tips helped give some great outfit and makeup ideas for the New Year! Make sure you find a way to stand out and be bold as you enter 2016 and have a very happy New Year!
